Nature has always helped us and protected us but now it’s our turn. We should compensate it for all the damages we have caused and try to preserve it for the future generations and for our own children.
There are three main sources of green energy: the sun, the wind and the biomass. The water is also considered a green energy source in some countries. The wind power is easily converted into electricity thanks to the technological achievements and the modern wind turbines. The advantages of the wind as a source for that type of energy are that it cannot cause pollution and there is no chance to run out of “wind supplies”. Actually, the wind could be deservedly defined as a clean and endless energy source. The sun is considered to be the most powerful source of energy and that’s why it’s very suitable for the production of green energy.
This type of energy is the future substitute of the almost exhausted fossil- fuel energy. It is the only known up to now substitute which has the power the stop the climate change and to protect our world from fatal consequences.
The green energy is considered to be environmentally friendly as its production is not connected with emissions of greenhouse gases which have such a negative influence on the climate. The price of the green energy is not very low now but this is absolutely normal, having in mind that it’s not very popular yet and the spread of this type of energy is limited. However, the green energy still plays a very insignificant role and hasn’t gained a leading place on the market.
We cannot rely only on the green energy to compensate all the harms we have caused to nature so far. If we really want to help to the environment, this could not happen only by purchasing this particular type of energy but we will also have to change some aspects of our life and try to lead a more environmentally friendly way of life. For example, we may try to use our cars rarely, only when we have to pass long distances. It’s much better both for the environment and for our health to ride a bike or just to walk. The other possibility is to use public transport, which is not the most convenient way of travelling, but decreases seriously the pollution.
Every person can contribute to the prevention of nature without losing money if he or she just wants to. The green energy is undoubtedly the energy of the future and its greatest advantage compared to the ordinary energy is the inexhaustibility of its resources. However, that type of energy still has a long way to pass until it turns into the most popular and widely spread energy. The green energy is our last chance to try to preserve the nature and thus to ensure a green future for our children. All of us must take part in the protection of the world.
